Common Issues in Painting and Everyday Life - Picnic at Heads of Stone, Dole island, Latvia
A hundred years have already passed since the last time a ship docked on the shore of Dole Island, when a group of artists disembarked to the sound of orchestral music and went out into the greenery, celebrating togetherness. Perhaps soon, a ship will leave the house of the Artists' Union, which stands on the banks of the river of destiny in the very heart of Riga, to Dole Island, and a united family of artists will alight from the ship to the shore with a rowboat.
